How to use?

We recommend that you eat one bar every other day to being with or you might get more than you've bargained for. Gague your response to the galactagogues + either increase or decrease your intake from there.

They're designed to eat on-the-go, deliberately individually wrapped so you can have one with you anywhere + eat it anytime. You could try crumbling one + serving with yoghurt + fresh fruit or warming one for 20 seconds + serving with custard or ice-cream

FAQ's

Do the lactation bars actually work?

You tell me that they do! Our bars are full of galactagogues which are ingredients traditionally used to increase breast milk supply but we make no promises that these will improve your supply - after all, we're all different. However, I do promise to bake you a delicious lactation bar [NZ's ONLY lactation bar] that we believe is superior to all others + what's more is you don't have to be lactating to eat it, it's a great snack for mums who aren't breastfeeding, supportive dads + helpful siblings

What is a galactagogues?

A galactagogue is a substance used to increases breastmilk supply. Our lactation bars have the following galactagogues - brewers yeast, oats, chia seeds + linseed

How many bars should I eat?

We don't recommend eating more than 1 in a day + think 1 every other day is a good place to start. Increase or decrease from there.

Are the bars dairy free?

The bars are not made with ingredients containing dairy but they are manufactured in a multi-allergen factory + therefore may contain traces of dairy.

Are the bars gluten free?

No! Our lactation bars are oat based + therefore contain gluten.

Do the bars contain soy?

Yes, they all contain soy lecithin + the Mixed Berry bar contains soy flour.

Do I have to be breastfeeding to eat them?

No! Both Jeremy + I eat them + neither of us are breastfeeding. What's great about these is they make a great snack for anyone - mums, dads, children, even grandparents. When we formulated these bars with food technology experts the brief was that they MUST taste great + Anyone MUST be able to eat them. We know we have achieved that + that you'll love them as much as we do + as much as the customers before you have. You can read more reviews HERE

Do the bars have an expiry date?

Yes - all bars are stamped with a best before date. They have a 12 month shelf life from the date of production

Where can I purchase the bars?

Lila Jasmine Lactation Bars are currently available at a handful of retailers, our STOCKISTS page has all the details

Love these Bars. Have used for both my babies. Love how they taste and love how they help aid my milk production. It's hard to only restrict myself to only one a day.
Highly recommend.

These bars are all that they claim to be and more! They’re not only (ridiculously) delicious, but they’re also the perfect, and convenient portion size and also wholesomely, consciously full of goodness.

I was battling with fluctuations in milk supply whilst battling a c section wound infection and I was using these bars to help supplement, and I genuinely saw an improvement with milk supply!

They’re perfect as a handbag snack, bedside table snack, between meals, glovebox or baby bag emergency snack or even as dessert!
The whole family actually loves them (including my 4 year old) who I now have to hide them from 🤣
